Good performance from the team and particularly pleasing to have a clean sheet.

Everyone played well, I also thought Dyer, Foulser and Hollis were excellent and another beauty of a free kick from Wheels.

Again the pitch was awful with hardly a flat piece of surface on it but we still managed to play some good football.

My MOTM was Adam Foulser.

Very professional performance from the lads yesterday, we worked very hard on a poor pitch, and defended well all over the pitch.

We are starting to get the benefits of having players fit, and competition for places, and that is still with Ollie, Sean and Blounty out, and Hatchett away yesterday.

Felt that St Ives were a strong side physically, and tried to rough us up a bit, but were unable to do so, their front two were quite lively but did not really get a lot of service.

Is great to have Adam Foulser back in the side after 11 weeks out, he has come back in over the last few games and not looked like he has missed a game, he is fantastic in the air, and gives the lads such a boost.

Also really good performances from the midfield 2 who worked very hard, and Johnnie Dyer who is hitting the form we know he is capable off.

Having said that everyone played their part yesterday, and it was a real good away performance.

Really enjoyed yesterday, a really nice club to visit, and a great result to go with it.  We defended well and really limited their chances, and played good football on a really bad pitch.

Dyer's first goal was a fantastic piece of skill, somehow managing to chest it down, turn and poke it past the keeper in one movement under pressure.  His second came from a bit of luck from a dodgy defended header, but he took it very well.

Wheeler's free kick goal was made so much more satisfying by the antics of their number 11, who after our calls for him to get back 10 yards, turned around to us and did a little dance, before turning around for a great view as Wheeler's free kick flew into the top corner.

It was a really tough call on a man of the match as it was a good team performance, several names came up including Foulser, Dyer, Hollis, Woozley and Short.  Hopefully it won't be too long before we have Dyer and Smith both firing in the goals.

Looking forward to Tuesday and seeing how the team face up to the tough games on the next two Saturdays, COYR!

Wasn't at the game so can't comment on the performance but very pleased with that scoreline. Think St Ives have acquitted themselves well since coming up and given the problems we had recently with Aylesbury and Leighton with the pitch at Bell Close I was expecting another tough game. To come away with a three goal winning margin was impressive and sets us up nicely for two games this week.

Looking forward to getting behind the lads on Tuesday night and then bringing the lucky charms with me (Steven, Rhys and Emma) for the Daventry game which should be a corker.

Like Gary, wasn't able to make the game, but was expecting a close run thing as St Ives have been very impressive since promotion. Particularly pleasing for me was to hear that JD was amongst the goals again, he seems to be running into goal scoring form which is great as it eases the burden on Ed. Looking forward to tomorrow. superb professional job in what could have been a very tricky game.

strong performances all round with everyone playing a good part

went about our business without anything too flashy and was a very comfortable victory

hopefully more of the same tomorrow although wasn't North Greenford the team we stumbled against after winning at another St. team very close to St Ives in St Neots a few years ago. 3 points tomorrow is vital going into the Daventry game which could be massive in seeing where our season goes from here

Lovely town, top club, 3 points, great weekend. What more could you want? Totally bossed the game on a heavy old pitch. Daventry going to be the real test.

Daventry will be a real test but going by the season thus far, North Greenford could be a bigger test?
