The club consider that there is plenty of time to find a new manager. At this time Bryan and Pete are the managers and we have to get behind them with our support on Saturday. Following that game I am sure that there will be further announcements.

 

It is probable that there will be many people interested I see Adam Lee is without a club at present.

So, the West London press see it as a three-way tussle between Scott McGleish, David Howell and Carl Griffiths.

Maybe Mcgleish has the advantage of being able to score the goals to help keep us up, as well a manage the team...That being said,the fact that he jumped ship last season to go to a fellow ryman prem team might go against him.

I don't think it was a question of "jumping ship". A better offer came along and he had done the job for us. Managing Enfield Town is a job of work and personalities must not come into it. The board has to pick the best person for the job not the nicest or most loyal.

Im sure the board have done the right thing in taking there time with appointing a new manager, and am sure with the experience of the board they will come up with the right man for the job. Lets hope its some one with a personality as well as the knowledge and experience we need.

Given our apparently small playing staff budget, surely we need someone who can attract talent without the promise of huge financial reward AND find a winning formula.
