I'm taking no notice of Clive T,as this is relevant to Slough and especially given that Aylesbury are our next opposition.

They have signed Stuart Swift, who came on as sub for 20 mins yesterday for them against Egham.

Pity they had to get him,as Slough will probably be facing one of his free kicks on New Years Day !

According to Swifty on Twitter he won't be at the game on Wednesday.

warro was at the game saturday and when asked the question on wether he was playing for aylesbury ny day he said he would only play for bates as emergency cover, at the moment he has decided to take time off from football and was enjoying the rest, seems to tell its own story.

Blooming long rest!

James Warrington got injured in the warm-up before his debut for Aylesbury. However,he hasn't been missed because they've got lucky with a goalie, who was originally going to be Warrington's stand in.

Their new keeper is called James Weatherall and he's been performing wonders in goal for The Moles.

So James Warrington is sort of surplus to requirements currently.

Let's hope Weatherall has an off day and we put a few goals past him on Wednesday.
