New manager at Aylesbury FC?

 

He's been seen a few times at manager-less Aylesbury a few times recently.

 

Only problem might be is that they are skint.

Seems Bates has been busy rounding up some of his old brigade, Warro, Sweeney etc. for his new venture, which seems more than likely to be Aylesbury FC.

Danny Burnell named in the starting line-up today

There are a lot of players he signed that are without a club for one reason or another. Wonder if he'll tempt a few of them to put their boots back on.

Batemans first game ended in a 3-1 defeat to SYCOB and of course Danny Burnell was booked for abusing  the ref  so no change there then.

Long chat with Steve Bateman today at Sycob---also Steve Perkins his assistant !.

 

Is optimistic about signing several Slough Town favourites from last year--two (James Warrington and Jake Parsons) were there today !

 

Seems like Sonner, Sweeney and maybe Brown are on the hit list..Danny is already there but sounds like some kind of loan deal only at present

Not the start Bates would have wanted    Warro injured during the warm up and withdrawn and beaten 0-3 by Uxbridge.

Still not got a win under his belt lost 2-1 away to potters bar after being 1 up after 3 minutes ( not an old Slough scorer )

After North Greenford away match this Sat,they've got to play Kettering,Daventry twice and Rugby this side of Xmas.

Don't envy Steve Bateman's task,the timing of his appointment has done him no favours.

SB got his first point yesterday with Adam Logie and his son,Sam in the team.
