According to the Ryman League website, Clapton are away to Bracknell tomorrow evening in the Bryco Cup. Therefore, I assume the Essex Senior Cup tie between Chelmsford and Clapton was postponed and the Essex FA have not updated their website.

Yeah, I will be there, my son is in the Enfield squad and hopefully will play some part tonight (fingers crossed!). One of my best mates is Steve Moseley (ex Enfield F.C.)who is the Chelmsford Manager. Steve contacted me yesterday afternoon for Jim's details to see if he could get the game on.

No ones hoping more than him!!! He would love to show Jim and the Fans what he can do when given the chance, in all honesty he is keen to fill the spot left vacant by Matty Negus. He has pace, skill and can whip a ball in with pinpoint accuracy. Who knows, tonight may be his chance.

Wouldn't be John Hyatt would it? I thought he did well tonight. I know it was only a friendly but it was hard to tell who were from the 2nd level of the pyramid tonight. Well done Town.

Your occupation wouldn't be a stand-up comedian would it? Keith O'Keefe? Or am I miles out?

It was a good game and showed what ETFC can do on a good pitch!

Agreed. A good pitch makes a big difference. The surface at Billericay is excellent and they have two teams playing on it. I believe plans should be put in place soon to improve the Brimsdown pitch during the summer (at least ensure it's watered). It must never be allowed to get in such a state again.
