Sir Rebel1965 Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Thought in the first half we did some of our best defending so far this season against a structured team who know how to pass the ball around and probe for weaknesses, but once the first went it was a case on containing them for our pride. It was a game where we were in a win/win situation as if we won it was great, and if we lost it would be by a side 4 levels above so no shame in that. Russ_Rebel Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 Leagues apart and it was always going to show in the second half at some point their fitness levels, we did well couldn't have asked for more from the team were struggling for goals but still trying out there on the field but it could have been an absolute thrashing so fair play to the lads who played. Rebel yell Posted November 8, 2013 Share Posted November 8, 2013 Extremely encouraging to see the introduction of 2 youth team players and 1 academy player into the squad for this game. Even though team results are not going our way at that level (at the moment). It's great to see individual player development is progressing nicely and I think great credit should be given to Mark Betts and his coaching team for some Stella work.
