I'll be looking forward to some payback with a 'proper' home tie this time adn with only a one goal defeat at Gillingham two years back, we could easily sneak a win at Stonebridge Road. On the back of another excellent defensive performance yesterday we should get some good results in the coming Barnet, Shrewsbury, Tamworth and Scarborough games and follow them up with a place in the third round draw at a Premiership side...

 

I was pleased to see Steve Perkins put out an excellent display for Fleet yesterday after some ropey performances that left me questioning his place in the side. For those who didn't go to the Deva Stadium yesterday, the penalty was definitely justified and we could have had another after a push on who I think was either Haworth or Owen in the first half.

 

Just keep supporting the mighty reds and remember, through thick and thin, rain or shine, follow them wherever they go.

I have heard a whisper that the notts county match will be all ticket and vouchers may be needed from a game or two before the main event. can any one back this up?

Tickets were on sale before hand last time. In that case it was originally all-ticet. I seem to remember that it was not sold out...and that's before the endless postponments

The last league team we played in the cup at stonebridge road was colchester i think, and that was all tciket and it was the 1st round and not the 2nd. incidentally this could be notts county last ever game as a league club!!!
