Agree that Boddy was good today.  Why oh why wasn't Vizzy put on fifteen minutes earlier than he was particularly after that penalty miss meant Charlie didn't get three which is presumably why he was kept out there

Absolutely ridiculous, we are 4-1 up then we have to get involved in something stupid and have yet another player sent off. When are we going to learn. We have a good result albeit against a team that really were poor and now we have another suspension coming up. We must be holding up the fair play league.

All-time record for sendings off in a season is 10 during 1988/89 and again during 2003/04.

 

During 1988/89 it took until 2.1.89 to get to 7 reds (despite getting 4 in one game) and during 2003/04 the 7th red came on 21.2.04.

 

So we're all set for a new record, probably by the end of the month I reckon.

Good result, Bodkin my MOM, worked hard all game.

Lots of criticism of refs lately but thought todays was very good, kept the game flowing and explained things to the players. It wasn't his fault the players lost control and had a brawl. Lack of discipline amongst our players needs sorting by SO & CH. Its really not good enough, has cost us already and will now cost us again.

Paul Vines waits patiently to get his chance then when he comes on he gets himself sent off, crazy !

My take on the game (here comes a dannyriding) we were by far the best team on the pitch and because we were playing them off the pitch they resulted to push/pull/dig tactics.. Did we need to react to their under-hand play, probably not but as a human being you can only take so much niggling to have to to say enough is enough.... so please dont berate the team for getting physical.   Overall we were sooo much better than them that they resorted to dirty tactics which means we are on the right track IMO

you can hardly say that paul vines had been niggled at, he had only been on pitch about 1 minute. i dont think he had even touched the ball

Nothing wrong with getting physical at all but to get players booked and sent off game after game after game proves there is a serious discipline problem at the club which needs sorting.

of more concern to me is the Beales injury.

 

Joe Vines suspension coming up, and it reads that Beales has quite a serious injury.

 

always thought we were one central defender short- certainly are now it seems.

Can anyone post the extent of Beales injury ?

 

I guess it'll be Avery alongside either Walsh or sammoutis in central defence for a few games

 

Fantastic result again-just hoping for another home draw against the lowest ranked team in the competition

in my post above- I did of course mean a preference for Marlowe from the same league and a few places above north greenford ,who were narrowly defeated yesterday , but have a feeling it will be a short away trip to merthyr tydfil .

If we got marlow town would have a lot in common with them.Both begin MAR quite obvious but the main thing is we have both played the mighty spurs in the 3rd round of the cup and both lost.
