Eastside Urchin
Sounds a bad day at the office according to twitter. Seems we wasn't at the races although started brightly,at least this is what I took from the various tweets. Obviously the right thing to do to arrange the game on a free Saturday but after our recent run of form and displays maybe we could of done with a bit of a rest
cup of tea
We got what we deserved out of the game - nothing. Should have had a pen in the second half but any result other than a Lowestoft win would have been wrong. We looked jaded and just couldn't compete in key areas. I'd be surprised if we play as bad as this for the rest of the season. Get this result over with and move on.
Eastside Urchin
They are climbing up the table and are 5 points behind us,they will take points off most if the sides at the top at home so at least we have this fixture out the way I guess
cup of tea
lowestoft looked competitive, we traditionally do badly up there as well.
Wivenhoe Urchin
The first half was competitive and fairly even, but second half after conceding 2 goals quickly from open play we found it difficult to get back into the game. It seemed to me there were 2 separate problems for us, one being the attacks from Lowestoft that led to good finishes and how we didn't make it more difficult for them, and the other, which may be argued is more important, is how we didn't score. In both halves we had chances and in the second half there were times where we had the ball in the box and kept passing it, when surely a shot on goal would be the best decision as it can end up in the net! cup of tea
I will maintain that we deserved to lose, but this is a competitive league and I'm not sure when a club went through a season without losing a game in the RPL. We had an off day but we're a good side and I'm certain that we will be in the mix at the end of the season. Lowestoft played okay as well, that's not going to be an easy place to go to in that form. Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
Agree with the competitive and close first half. But second half we just seemed to be over over the place and no structure through out the team. The constant change in formation doesn't seem to help either.
