was postponed last night due to a tree fallen in the car park at Boreham Wood.

Not heard anything to say otherwise WR, to be fair the pitch at Holloways Park last night was in great condition, so with a dry day forecast I can not really see the game being called off.

Just one change to the 16 man squad tonight (Nathan Jack coming in for Matt Grave) but will be a couple of changes to the starting line up to freshen us up a little from Saturday. Looking forward to what is going to be another important game for us. We need to keep winning if we are to stay in touch with the sides at the top.

Mike, some of us are heading to the White Hart about 5 mins walk from the ground before the game. They did some nice food in there last year.

I can't see a 1-0 scoreline.... there have been 40 goals in Slough's 10 matches, so I'd expect there to be at least three or four goals in the match tonight.

 

Also worth noting that Chalfont have conceded in the 90th minute in four of their ten matches.

Good battling performance today. Deserved all 3 points against a chalfont side who had no intention of attacking at any point.....

Not a bad prediction eh fellas,watched Chalfont play,they lack a goal scorer,but defensively pretty sound.

No way was that a good performance. We did deserve the 3 points as we were the better of 2 not very good, on the night, sides but that's all. When we did score, near the end, it followed Chalfont missing a good chance. We did battle, but showed very little skill.

 

3 points is all that really matters, and they say the sign of a good side is winning when they don't play well, and that was us tonight.

Crikey you lot are a hard lot to please,3 points is the maximum points per game you can get.Just the same as winning 9-0.A win is a win in my book,so be grateful.

we should be happy with the win as we struggled to show what we are capable in long spells. at the end of the day getting the win is what matters.

 

would have been a disaster if we hadn't found the winner as Chalfont could not even keep upright most the times they attacked us. a team that had a clue how to score may well have punished us particularly up until our pen. 

 

we were much better 2nd half without too many clear chances

 

absolutely delighted to get the win in the end

Well, at least the attitude was right. Shame about the organisation and skill for 85+ minutes though!
