ExLandlord (HUFC)
Really looking forward to my visit to Hornchurch. I've told all the cows to be up early for milking as I have to walk seven miles to the nearest bus stop to catch the morning bus into Hereford City. A friend of mine has a car and has agreed to drive us to the game. I'll be famished by the time we get there as I won't have eaten since 4.00 am (before milking). Now, I realise you nice folk live on pig fry or eels and mash but is there anywhere within ten of fifteen miles where I can get a decent 16 ounce sirloin and some boiled swede? Eastside Urchin
Ha ha ha ha there's a bistro in upminster high street but I've not been in there as it's only opened. Other than that I am sure there is something in hornchurch town centre to cater for your needs although you may have to do with a pub lunch got the steak!!! Some decent Turkish restaurants, Italians,Chinese,Indian,Thai etc in both towns
paokman
For Essex food you'd need to go to Leigh on sea for cockles and whelks

Eastside Urchin
Lol You can pay on the day,but I would recommend getting to the ground before 2.30pm to avoid any queues
andydick
Lol You can pay on the day,but I would recommend getting to the ground before 2.30pm to avoid any queues All HUFC supporters have to pay on the day - it's their only option given Hereford didn't take any tickets. The length of the queue will purely be dependent on the number of supporters HUFC bring as they'll enter the ground at the North end (Abraham Court) and not via the main entrance. It's all detailed on the HUFC site anyway.
