Danny returns

Yep I spoke to Danny last night, as Johnnie did not come through the session, and he needs to get a few games to get his match sharpness up so he is ready for Hayes and Yeading, and with us 2 strikers down, it made perfect sense to get him in.

Suits both of us, and we are delighted he has agreed to come and join us for the next 3 games.

He signed forms this morning, however we are just waiting on Burnham to sign his transfer forms.

We also have another striker who will be involved with us tomorrow, however again this is on a short term deal, and we are awaiting confirmation of the league registration also.

OHHHHHHHHHHH DANNN-NNNNNY BURRRRR-NELLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!

didn't think it would happen but it makes perfect sense. fair play to Danny, Bakes and Unders for making this happen. if we haven't got Eddie Smith may as well replace him with the only other striker who has scored loads of goals for us in the last 5 years

Just to add to what Bakes said earlier, we're really pleased Danny has agreed to come in. I'm sure he will do a great job for us and from his point of view it gives him a chance to get some matches and hopefully goals under his belt to give him the best chance of impressing the Hayes & Yeading management when he returns there.

I spoke to Tristan Lewis last night who is Phil Babb's assistant at H&Y and they were both very keen for him to come to Slough and we're grateful to them for this.

In addition we have also now signed Matt Graves, a forward who previously played for Egham, and he comes in to the squad for tomorrow's game. Matt knows Adam Foulser and Lakey well and they speak highly of him and he's really keen to get involved and impress us. He is quick and has an eye for a goal but due to work and family commitments he has been unable to commit fully to Saturday football this season.

We welcome both Matt and Danny to the club.

not sure this is a good move , just hope danny proves me wrong , hope he can keep his mouth shut, and just get on with playing football, his lip to officials was one of the things that really didn't endear. the reds and suspensions gained by him due to this have cost us dear over the seasons in my opinion.
