littlehampton
It's a supporters owned club, we all have a say, so what players should we let go, who should we bring in, and who should be our new manager? Whilst you are right CST that everyone is entitled to an opinion - it doesn't necessarily mean that they are right. Think everyone, who has the best interests of the Club at heart, will be concerned by our recent performances, results and present league position. We have dropped into the bottom four and no club likes to be in the drop zone at this time of the season. Making wholesale changes to the management team and players doesn't guarantee success. We have a good Board of directors, who are well capable of making the right decisions. Equally, we have a good manager who is, I am sure, as concerned as you are about our present predicament. He is a decent, honest, very capable guy who has done well in his time with the Club. The Ryman Premier Division is a tough competition and, yes, we need players with the ability to perform at this level, week in week out. Steve has been very unlucky with injuries to key players recently, and has not been able to field a full strength side. This has resulted in us being punished by some of the much better funded sides in our division. Things can change and be turned around quite quickly, once these players are available, and we take steps to strengthen the team with new signings in one or two key positions. I am sure the Board and the management team share our concern, and will act accordingly to put things right, sooner than later.
the viewer
Littlehampton, i do agree that we have a good board but somtimes think they ade scared to make really tough decesions. I also agree that Steve is a good manager but may be not quite good enough for the Ryman premier. I would also like to see a number of new players as unfortunately may not be good enoug for the rhman prem either. Personally, obvioulsly my honest opinion, i think we need a new keeper, 2 new fullbacks maybe 2 new midfielders, one of which would be a midfield enforcer and one big goalscoring centreforward.
