I was told the reason london lions were so good last year.is that they were the england macabi team. And if they played all year they would go off in the summer just gone and represent england.i donno if this is true or not .

Again strange if club knew this why push so hard and invest so heavily (groundshare) in promotion to then have no team. If they'd kept that side they'd have done well, they were quality.

Fair enough, perhaps they will be able to sign a competitive squad then? Although their players have to be Jewish don't they? Still have a big pool in that area. Hope they do turn it around.

I think they just had a decent side who when things got tough and they weren't winning all the time they didn't fancy it

yeah quite possibly, you guys play them last season?

 

Ps great start and continued form, hopefully have great chance of title and promotion.

Yes. Great footballers but not a lot of backbone when they went behind. Didn't seem like they had their hearts in it. A team needs an identity a ground and a purpose. Not sure they had any of those but hopefully they will recover and maybe learn some lessons from this.

So need that strength and grit too, to be really successful at this level.
