I think it will be a very good competitive match.... Merthyr appear to be a good side that have only been beaten twice away in their league by North Leigh (1st) and Paulton Rovers (3rd) and away in the FA Cup by Bridgwater (5th in their league).

 

There have been 43 goals in their ten league matches and 31 in our eight league matches..... so I'm expecting to see an entertaining match with at least four goals.

Here's one for ARAAS.

 

Tomorrow we will more than likely be facing Merthyr's new signing ex Southampton and Bristol Rovers player Kayne Mclaggon.

 

He is only 23 and made his Championship debut as a sub for Southampton against Plymouth and made his full debut and scored against Reading.

 

Only an achilles injured has curtailed his professional career.

Yes McLaggon will play according to their website ( received the required paperwork with just minutes to spare) but they will be short 4 other 1st team regulars due to injuries which should benefit us.

No good words to say right now. I thought we were in control even after they equalised even though we weren't playing that well. The less said about everything after our penalty was awarded the better.

Thought we played well enough today as a team but individual errors cost us the match. Don't like to lose but it might be a better result than a draw in this instance and I'm more upset about my bet! We've been due a bad ref and boy did we get one today.

They seemed like a really good team on the attack so some positives to be taken from a defensive point of view.
