Just to confirm, I actually resigned rather than going by mutual consent (think whoever wrote the piece to the league thought it sounded good rather than understanding it!)

The reasons for my decision aren't for such a forum, but it is a real shame, particularly after we were becoming a good unit.

I have no hard feelings about the situation, some things just aren't meant to be.

I wish Dan Kingston, who is in temporary charge, all the best of luck as he is a great guy and for the sake of the good people involved with the club and the fantastic group of players, I hope they can continue to improve as a group!

Your start to the season has been fantastic and really good for our local area given the relatively poor showing from many of the other local sides (both South Mids and UCL).

I hope to get back into management soon, but have gone back and started playing after a couple of years out.

Dan is a good guy and experienced and well respected as a manager around our area at this level.

 

Having been Director of Football at the club since the summer (and as such knowing all the players), can't think of anyone better to take the role!

Thanks Winslow Boy, currently I intend to, but after 2 years out and at 33 it is incredibly difficult to get anything like fit enough to be competitive!

Agree SamC. All good experience for you. Perhaps a more low key "attitude" will help next time and don't be so touchy about criticism. Difficult job at Stony with a good Chairman, And the insulting of Dan Kingston is cheap. Dan knows his limitations but is the man, more than any other, that is responsible for Buckingham Town still being in existence.

Not sure on your other comments, I am very willing to take criticism! That is certainly no part of the reason for me leaving.
