Can't blame Rother for being a bit grumpy at the moment. Tough times for Windsor.

Sturdy wheel-brace required !

Nor did I duncs as Im still waiting for that day also. Anyway I wouldnt do it on a forum as there's a place to say your peace & disagreements & that's not online.

Yesterday saw a much improved performance from Windsor. First half we bossed the game but lacked any real cutting edge. The pitch was poor and the long grass and uneveness led directly to our equaliser on the stroke of half time. We took the lead early in the second half when some excellent passing and moving resulted with Kane Jones dinking the ball over the advancing keeper. The game turned when Kyle Lucas was taken off. He had given Whyteleafe's right back a torrid time but that change was done more to ensure we kept 11 on the pitch. The way the referee was handling the game it would only have been a matter of time before Lucas would have had a second yellow. The irony of it all was that the right back spent most of the game holding, blocking and doing anything to stop being rinsed time and time again.

4-2 genuinely flattered Whyteleafe and a draw after 90 would probably have been a fair result.

As for Whyteleafe FC, they were really hospitable and friendly. Smashing ground with a view to die for from the railway end. Two good real ales on tap meant that we all had a great time.

Missed out on pre match festivities at London Bridge so when we got to the Whyteleafe Tavern it was a few drops of London Pride. The bar snacks menu was very good value I hasten to add. Gangly Ghoul was my preferred choice at Church Rd and very drinkable it was too. Then, after probably 2 too many it was into The Globe and Market Porter in my favourite part of London. All nicely complimented by an extremely hot Chicken Phal. Now this is what non league football is so good  :alc:

I thought when Eversley went 2 up in the 1st half that they would win easily but they allowed Sandhurst to get back in the game because they took thier foot off the gas, credit to Sandhurst who took thier goals well the 1st being a pen,in the 2nd half Sandhurst made 3 very strange subs and it cost them the game,1 sub was sent off and another was at fault for Eversleys 2 goals in the 2nd half, have to say what a good side Eversley look and I wouldn't be surprised if they finished in a promotion spot,Sandhurst however need to sort out thier bench there are to many people bellowing instructions it was a bit embarrassing as the players don't know who to listen to,good luck to both clubs.

Yeah I completely agree, crazy situation at sandhurst seemed like they had about 5 coaches on the bench and no subs!

The guy who got sent off was one of the coaches which is pretty poor example to the young squad.

Agree regarding eversley look pretty decent just need someone in the middle in my opinion to control the pace of game as that will help against the better sides in the league.

Lovely pitch at the club, one of the best in the league and the prem!

Well done Epsom back to winning ways after an absolutely shocking run of results - the management need to sort their act out E&E should be the class apart in this division. Look forward to reading the report as they only post when they win!

Good news also for Epsom with Villa losing and Park staying in the Vase.

Dissapointing results in the Vase only South Park, Chess & Hook and Hartley through!

What a surprise Park beating Lammas by 5, though Staines would have put up more of a fight!

Unbelievable that Hartley have still only played 8 league matches - surely will affect then in the league as the season progresses.

Sorry Stan, you are wrong here, as many on here will confirm plenty of times when I've been critical if we have lost. Win or lose (work permitting) I will post a review. As for the club, they won't post here, but they will always provide a match report. In fact, there are currently two reports produced from every game, one on the club website and one on the historical website www.eefconline.co.uk.

Firstly, the game. An even first 45 was followed by a better second half, especially the middle period when we took the lead and probably should have added more. We got a little twitchy towards the end, no doubt concerned after getting pulled back right at the end of the Raynes Park game, but broke away for a second and a third was harsh on Frimley who contributed much to the game. It was a great free kick though, and worth the admission money itself!

I expected more from Frimley though who have been on a good run and didn't really threaten us that often.

Secondly, I'm intrigued by your comment about the Management needing to sort their act out. In what way? We've had a recent blip, which is inevitable when you start like a train, but our last two performances have been much improved, which would tell me that no further action is required from our Management, but if you think different, I'm listening!

I watched epsom, windsor, south park, hartley, molesey and hanworth villa in the last month and abit. I personally think everyone should watch out for molesey. There performance against cove has stood out for me out of all these games!

I hope epsom go on a run now.

Its going to be a very interesting season!
