I shall be at the Epsom game tonight, but can't decide whether to avoid all media and watch the England game when I get home or whether to watch the last bit at the ground and avoid a late night!

I expect some rotten attendances tonight though.

Ash utd 1 camberley t 2

Another odd goal defeat

Started well & took the lead but soon camberley hit back with 2 well struck goals but from an Ash view very poor as again giving the ball away in wrong areas

2nd not much to say as it was even but camberley deserved the win

Some interesting results last night with top 2 Epsom Ewell and South Park dropping points.  Epsom early season runaway leaders and Windsor have hit the wall, South Park losing again, all good for Hanworth Villa....so it seems.  BUT its not a foregone conclusion, this could well be the most exciting CCL Premier season for along time, with each team beating each other on their day !    So is there much difference between the teams I ask ?

Newcomers Frimley quietly going about their stuff and creeping up the league.....could there be surprise champions this season ?

Exciting stuff !

Chris good report as ever, however discipline seems very poor from your Youth players, hope they are paying their own fines.

Yes they are. We got our first cautions of the season last Thursday.

They are not bad lads at all just got frustrated with some ref decisions. We've all done that!

Learning curve as I said in the report - next Wednesday at Chipstead in FA Youth Cup will be a good test of where we are.

Last year, the champions lost 6 games. the year before it was 5. Looking at the table in mid October, Hanworth Villa and Hartley Wintney have lost 1 and they have games in hand. There's a long way to go and it really is a wide open league which can only be a good thing.

Very frustrating for us last night as we played better than we had in a few weeks and were caught by a 92nd minute equaliser.

Bizarre though this sounds, I felt we were worth a draw at Farnham on Saturday, but there were signs yesterday that we are beginning to put it together again. We'll find out whether we are back on form when Frimley visit on Saturday, as they are clearly in good form.

It is defeinitely wide open though and hopefully will remain that way, as there's nothing worse than one team running away with it as early as January, unless it's your own team, of course!

This "one club goes up" rule really annoys me, but I can't really complain, seeing as Epsom have not managed a top three position (second) since 1984!
