Consequently, the ground has been re-opened for league matches with immediate effect

Jeff Hamnett TSF
I'd just like to say a public Big Thanks on here to Ray and Colin for doing the work needed to get us playing at Meadowbank again, which was rewarded on Saturday with a fine game over 120 minutes in the Vase. LisaHPhotog
Can I throw in my thanks to the Dorking folks for one of the most entertaining and nerve racking games of football ever? Lovely friendly folks in one of the prettiest grounds I've seen. Would love scenery like that. Had a chat with the secretary (sorry forgotten his name) and the things you guys have overcome would muller many other clubs. Fair play to you all and can't wait to come back and see in the league game.

Hear hear! You are too modest though, not only doing the gate but doing the bar as well! Now if you could only flip the burgers at half time as well..... It's like being back to the glory days of this forum with threads devoted to Dorking FC
LisaHPhotog
Thanks JR! I was in the middle of shooting and Ray was checking the fencing walking round the permeter so didn't catch his name! Glad you like the pics. I'm always really hard on myself about them. Nice when people like them. Could still do better tho!
