Andy Moore

It was with sadness that i read in one of the free papers that "Andy" is fighting lung cancer. I worked for Andy for quite a while when he was head of the "Sport for sucess" at the "Margate learning zone".

Andy (A deputy head at Bromstone school)is only in his early thirty's, married with 2 children. Andy is one of those rare people "Kids love and respect", a firm in disiplinarian but, also caring. His impact on "sport for success" was great. Of his many achievments, The curriculum "Andy" put in place at the gate was taken up nationaly. He took on the organisations other Clubs in a competition and won, beating Man city's and Newcastles utd's zones in the final round, they and the millions they had spent on their facillities.

The one success that stands out for me more than any other was a young boy coming to the learning zone, refusing to write anything at all at his school, following his afternoon at "M L Z" he went back and wrote a full A4 report on his experience.

 

I would have to say "Andy", your only sign off weakness is your life long support of "Brentford"
