Horley Town 3 Windsor 2

Great result for Town today. Town went two nil up before half time with two for Ashley Windsor had a play sent off. In the second half Town went three nil up through Gary Thomlinson before Windsor hit straight back to make it three one. Windsor then scored number two. Town then had a player sent off for a second bookable offence (Joke). Both team hit the post and the upright. Town continued to play some great football and deserved the second three points this week. Shame we have no game next week as we are just getting some form. The referee was poor today but at least he was poor for both sides far to many yellows and red in a game which did not deserve it.

I know you weren't captain Milesy.  How is your back or was it arm from your training ground free kick in the 2nd half.

So the ref did one of our players for diving when actually he didn't and if the ref had given it your skipper was off.

Still don't think you deserved to win but hey ho you did and are top of the league.

Good Job you are a Hammer Milesy.

Some result for Worcester against sandhurst today 7-3 winners away from home!! Watched eversley again today thought it was a pretty even game and dorking have certainly improved since the last time I watched them against sandhurst!!

A draw was probably a fair result!!

Good result for Chicks! I gather a 'goalfest' was expected :)

Hope Meadowbank is ready for the Vase game vs Knaphill next week. May not be the foregone conclusion many (me included!) would have thought a few weeks back....

Croydon 4 Ash Utd 3

well here i go again.....need to learn to do the basics properly when in control off the game

took the lead with an excellent individual goal but it wasn't long before croydon were level through an own goal. Then just before halftime we scored 2 quick goals to be 3-1 going into the break

2nd half should have made it safe but failed to put the chances away & in the space off 5 minutes we found ourselves behind & almost out off the game. We again didnt play well for a half but take nothing away from croydon as they played much better than us & turned it around in their favour to gain the win

Top of the league v 6th from bottom any neutral would have had a problem sorting that one out, just feel we deserved at least a point from what was a very good game. Good luck to South Park for the rest of the season and they could well go on to win it.

It was the arm and it ******* stung il tell you that!

That's exactly what the ref did, booked your 9 for diving when he didn't and didn't book your 10 for diving.

Thought you were better first half and we were the better team second half.

See you soon.

What was your view of the ref Harvold? Thought he was poor for both teams. Didn't affect the result, but up there with the worst I have seen over many years of watching and playing

I thought the ref was pretty dire but I have seen worse trust me!!!

For me his decision making and positioning throughout the game was poor! And why stop play while the game is going on to have a chat to a player, surely this is done when play is stopped!!

Great result for Horley over title aspirants Windsor, maybe this League is about passion, not the right of what you were a few seasons ago.Went to RPV today as blood is thicker than water,RPV never turned up,or was it due to Westfields better commitment, think the latter. As always the hospitality was as good as ever.Highlight of the day Gavin Bolger, washing the kit, just goes to show the COMMITMENT AND PASSION that some folk put in at this level.A mention for the pitch in one word,EXCELLENT,well done DOBBO,although the lines were a bit like me on a saturday night,PISSED.

Told you lot before, the Refs Secretary should get off his backside and get out and watch some of the Officials he appoints,He is robbing you blind,it could of been worse though Freddy Collins or Phil Nash could of been given the game. Then you would of had County Fines and League fines to pay as well as his £40 fee.Did he buy a drink in the bar postmatch?

It was pretty wet yesterday mid-day.

As has been said, the goal-mouth work was completed over a week ago, and time given for the ground to settle and bed in, Trevor.

How would the 'right of what you were a few seasons ago' have any effect on the group of mangement and players who had no involvement with the old club Smudge ?  Yes it was a great result for Horley and the opening two goals would have graced any level of football but our sending off had a great impact on the game which could have ended in a draw had we taken more of our second half chances !  You're right in one respect about passion though as no matter how technically good you are you still have to have that will to win.  Must also echo Carthorse's comment about the ref who for me spoilt the game - God knows how many yellows he produced and 2 reds [neither of which were deserved] and I can't actually recall one bad tackle.  It was an honest hard working game for both teams but he makes it sound like the 'Battle of the New Defence' !

Why should the Refs Secretary watch games ?  His job is to appoint officials from the list given to him by the FA not personally vet them !  Clubs and Assessors are the ones who decide his worthiness through the marking system during a season but once again you're having a pop at a volunteer who does what he's supposed to do.  I would also say I've never had any issues with the 2 officials you rather unfairly named on a public forum.

Finally, if the ref at Eversley picked up £40 for a Div.1 game then he's been paid over the league recognised rate !

Windsor Sec,so you accordingly marked this Official with a low mark,so that it is brought to the Referees Secretary's attention. If not, therein lies the problem. As for naming individuals, always believed pre-warned is pre-armed.As a supporter who pays good money to watch CCL Football, the last thing needed to spoil a good evenings entertainment is poor Officials.
