Agree 100% with Bernie, he should be ignored and that is what we've been doing since we stepped back a bit from the forum about a month ago. However I think that sometimes people like him need to be confronted and that is all we did yesterday. He will not answer the question we put to him as he has nothing to come back with, hence the silence. He is not a Slough fan (well certainly not one with the club's best interests at heart) and in football terms is a "nobody", despite what he may think/say, so his posts are basically irrelevant.

My preference would be that every single poster on here ignored every post he put up. Then maybe he would get bored and disappear and we could all enjoy some sensible debate on here by people who actually go to the matches and are therefore entitled to their opinions, whether we agree with them or not.

Myself and Bakes are 100% focused on keeping our good run going and this little forum 'battle' does not detract from that in any way. Although we still think it's best not to come on here to discuss performances, etc (that is for the fans to do) we will continue to provide as much info as possible by way of injury updates, squad news, etc.

Hopefully we'll see some of you over at Chertsey tonight.

So are you saying we can only post good constructive points of view how silly-when England play tonight should they lose ( lets hope not )and the newspapers have ago tomorrow does that mean they don't like England-how childish!

You keep on about this question you put to us we are not sure in all the gooblygook what it was you wanted to know.We have only commented on the team game to game so yes they were poor early on as you both said yourselves, now they have improved a bit and we are glad to see that.

Couldn't help laughing when you said " in football terms he's a nobody " what was your highlites playing in front of a few hundred fans, whereas I played in front of thousands at times-so best not go down that road.

Anyhow getting a bit bored with it all now so no need to reply.

I agree with Bernie. Hotpants is one of the most annoying [****!!****]ers we've ever had on this forum - but why do people keep engaging with it? He doesn't care about slough only his own self importance. Ignore him, dont close the forum cos of one plonker.

I think it will be Tuesday the 5th of November, though waiting for confirmation.

With Wycombe no longer running an academy I would expect a strong side from them, we also used to play with their assistant manager Richard Dobson at Farnborough and are in regular contact, so think they might go a bit stronger than they normally would...

might also depend a little on who they get drawn against in the FA Cup the following Saturday.

Either way our lads will be up against full time pro's and will be a good experience for them.

Really looking forward to this one,

I remember the game 2/3 years ago against them where they played a fairly strong side. They also had 100-150 fans in attendance and second half both us and them were under the covered end.

It was good to have the banter without it turning malicious and made for a very enjoyable evening......Lets hope for more of the same

My favourite was when Wycombe sang "You'll always be non-league" we replied "Your soon to be non-league" :)
