Anyone who watched the pre season game between us won't be taking this game for granted.

They were one of the best sides I've seen at this level and seen to be flying at present.

But we have greatly improved since then and see no reason why we shouldn't go their with real confidence.

See the route has us on the A414  near Hemel, is that the same 414 as the one at Chelmsford?

Taken from the Nomads forum .. posted by an Eastleigh supporter in response to a Sutton fan's question re Hemel Hempstead (Sutton have been drawn against Hemel in the FA Cup) ...

"Yes it was the second "new town" to take in the overspill from london post war.
Loads of pubs in Hemel, but its a very clicky town, walk in the wrong pub and you'll know about it straight away.
Nearest to the ground is The Crabtree, its ok, can be clicky in the public bar (although its all one bar now, the "lads" still drink up the far end where the pool table is), but its a beefeater foody type place aswell if your hungry & has a very big front beer garden if you have nice weather. There is also The Jubilee, which used to be called The Venture and used to be a complete no go pub, full of local gypsys. I hear its ok now though & the ground is just a 5 minute walk from either of these 2 pubs.
Hemel town centre is shite, so dont bother going there. although if your a Wetherspoons type, this is where you will find Hemel's Spoon's offerering, which is called The Fullhouse (it used to be the old cinema & bingo hall, so is massive). The "Old town" is good, with 4 pubs up one street, so good for a mini pub crawl that is only about 100 yards bewteen all four pubs. (Rose & Crown, The White Hart, The Olde Kings Arms & The Bell) From there its a 5-7 minute cab ride, but not walkable as its all up hill and takes in a dual carriageway.

The railway station is in Boxmoor, which is a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the ground (the ground is in Adeyfield), there are buses from there to all local areas. There are 2 pubs close to the station, one right next to it is a Harvester, but The Railway straight across is from the station is ok, and is where all the football fans supporting other teams tend to meet up before getting trains into Watford & London. There are several more a little further into Boxmoor village, which is a very old village and probably wouldnt cope well with large numbers of football fans.

I will also be going to this game, as Eastleigh are out and we were due to play Dover in the league who are still in the cup, so no game for us that day.

Hope that helps."

What time is the bus leaving and what time will it actually leave. Less than 50 miles to Leverstock Green

Been looking at Hemel' s website and liked the section with info for away supporters. Covers club facilities, bar, shop etc and pubs and eateries nearby. They sound a friendly lot.
