I think the reason there was such a difference between the first half and the second is that the Staines manager picked up on our weaknesses and made sensible tactical and personnel changes. Playing 3-5-2 with the players we use we are continually exposed by pace and by any team that can spread the play to the flanks. We were overrun and should have made our own changes much quicker. With the players we had on the pitch we could have gone 4-4-2 immediately:

 

Brown, Daly, Murphy, Barras

Chops, Wilko, Spence, Super Al

Miller and Hodge.
