Update

We are slowly starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel on the injury front and we thought we'd give you an update on the players who have been missing recently.

Adam Foulser - groin - Adam has been working really hard on his rehab and was able to do some light training Tues/Thurs/Sat. He will do the same this week and we are hopeful that he may play some part at Chertsey next Tuesday but will only do so if he is 100% happy with how it feels.

Wes Harrison - hamstring - did some light training on Saturday at the game. Our plan is for him to make his return next Tuesday at Chertsey

George Short - elbow - was great to get George back on the pitch at Godalming. He's been back training with us for a few weeks now and the fracture has fully healed but we've had to ease him back slowly as a precaution but will be looking to start him at Maidenhead on Saturday.

Ryan Lake - knee - Lakey had a setback in training on Tuesday but declared himself fit on Saturday. We were keen not to rush him back but providing he trains ok this week he'll start on Saturday.

Johnnie Dyer - ankle & knee - Johnnie has been carrying a few knocks recently and asked to come off at half time at Egham as he was struggling. He couldn't train flat out on Thursday so we put him on the bench on Saturday and would have only involved him in an emergency. Thankfully he wasn't required and we hope he will be fully recovered for Saturday or if not then Tuesday.

Scott Harris - ankle - a bit like Johnnie, 'Hatchet' has been playing at about 80% due to a lingering ankle injury. We're confident with a week's rest he will be involved in one or both of the next two games

Ben Edwards - holiday - returns on Saturday morning and will be on the bench at Maidenhead and will then start at Chertsey.

One player we will be missing for the next 3 games is Warren Harris through suspension but he will return for our next league game at home to Marlow on 22nd October. All being well at this point we will have a fully fit squad to pick from and if that is the case then we will have some really tough decisions to make.......although I can assure you Bakes and I will be delighted if that is the case!
