Midweek Games - Tuesday 8th October

Recommended Posts

Well done to Ampthill last night they were outstanding for the first 20 minutes...

Its nice that it meant so much to them to beat us....

Good luck for the rest of the season.

I happened to be at this game last night. Didn't realise the rivalry between these two sides was so big until Ampthill celebrated like it was the cup final when their two goals went in. Very strange. A useful 3 points but not season defining, surely?

The rivalry stems from st mags players behaviour at our ground. The celebrations were exactly what they did to us.

They nearly kicked the walls of our changing rooms in after beating us first game of the season and winner takes all??? That's who finishes higher in the league surely.

I think it was a case of things coming round to bite you on the arse. Hope they learn from that like we did in div 1.

Ampthill what happened against broxbourne in the cup on Saturday was it a bad day at the office or did u rest few? U looked pretty decent at St Mags tues night (was probably more up for it with the rivalry added to it im guessing) so was wondering if u think broxbourne will challenge for div 1 this year after the massive change of board, management, team etc from last years team, good luck with the rest of your season also

rested 6 players, the league is more important at the moment. Were you there tuesday? We did a job, not the best we have played, I personally was delighted in the way our lads got on with the job and didn't react to their antics.

Mate, a lot that has gone on did actually touch a few nerves, but hey, time to move on, to be honest your skipper  does not do you as a club any favours or no 9, but i must say your board and the people involved behind the scenes seem a very nice bunch. Anyway as i say time to move on.

We will indeed carry on. With a bit of class that you haven't got

Hahaha now that's funny....

Like I said good luck for the rest of the season, not worth getting into a slagging match old chap.....

A post on this saturdays fixtures

Watched london colney v st mags , colney had a player sent off at the death for a reckless tackle but but st mags bench and players never stopped whingeing from the 1st minute to the last, and some of the antics of st mags players particularly 6 captain and 9 were not very good to see, by the way Colney gave them the run around for 90 mins.

Says it all
