Chase Side Towner
...see the Leiston forum. One draw and 7 defeats in the last 8 games does not make for a happy supporter: http://www.lfc.leistonfc.co.uk/index.php/forum/6-reserves-youth-chat/588-time-to-say-goodbye-to-danny-laws Anybody thinking that we are on a bad run needs to think again, this is a team in meltdown. We play with no cohesion or momentum . Tactically we appear naïve, under prepared, with no over all game plan. Physically against recent opponents we seem to lack strength and pace. At times our players look bewildered and the soul has gone from the team.Blame for these failings (especially tactically) must be laid at the door of Mr Laws and his management team. It could be as I suggested when his appointment was announced, that Danny Laws lacks the ability to raise moral and get a team going again. The continuous changes in team selection, position changes and the constant trickle of players in and out of the club are all synonymous with his last days at Needham as their promotion challenge fell apart.I however have the feeling that he`s lost the dressing room, the way the teams seems to have no direction. Cunningham`s petulant throwing down of his shirt after being substituted on Tuesday night was a gesture of great disrespect considering he`d only been at the club a week. Most alarmingly is Danny Law`s admission to a Leiston supporter after the game with Hornchurch that Adam Tann had made the half time team talk as he had wanted to do it. Why would Tann feel he should do the managers work, he`s not even club captain. Can you imagine cloughs reaction had a Forrest player asked if he could do the team talk. It has to be asked where dose Bugg stand in all this. Director of Football dose this mean he says who comes and goes?, dose he have a say in tactics and team selection? What ever the reason our Chairman has to act quickly and relieve Danny and the rest of his coaching team of their duties, Bugg also if he has influence in playing matters and bring someone in while we have a chance of retaining our Premiere status.I was openly against Danny`s appointment, but having meet him at an U21 match at Framlingham he gained my respect with his dedication, commitment and enthusiasm for the Leiston cause. I feel sorry that it hasn`t worked out for both the club and Danny but what ever the reason this shambolic mess is not acceptable and The Chairman has to bid Mr Laws and his crew farewell .
