Good enough without being totally convincing--------could have had three or four more if the finishing had been better and now set for a nice home tie in two weeks time against beatable opposition(whichever of them !)

Sad that the next league game seems along time away !

Good win today, thought their keeper made some good saves which denied us on a few occasions.

Might not be a bad thing there being no league match for a while given Warren's suspension and Harrison & Foulser out & others looking like they are carrying knocks.

I'm not sure it being a good thing, getting behind with our league games,as if we have a bad winter like last year,it can be a mountain to climb playing catch up.

Couldn't make the game yesterday, who were Slough's best players on the day?

Sounds like Sean Fraser's own goal could be a contender for goal of the season! ha ha!

Thought Mcclurg had an excellent game in centre midfield. Quietly effective. Guy Hollis stood out at centre half. Felt we largely controlled the game without making the most of our chances. In reality it should have been four or five.

My main relief was that Ed Smith emerged unscathed after that awful challenge early on.

Blounty my MOTM closely followed by Guy Hollis and Warren Harris.

Ed Smith set up the first goal and scored an excellent goal himself. If he'd taken the chances that came his way it would be a different story.

It's pretty much the first thing he's done wrong all season. I thought it was a great shame that Sean didn't get player of the month for August because he was the most consistently good player (and has continued to be so), but I think the timing of the vote meant that Smith's 4 goals at Rugby overshadowed the performances of Sean Fraser.

Agree that Sean has had a very good start to the season but If I was being totally honest, before the Godalming game IMO he has had a few dodgy games. Having said that it can and does happen to most players at any level.

I'm with you on this,Reading Rebel, thought Sean was good in the early matches but of late has been shaky.Still,he is young and learning his game.He will grow in confidence the more games he plays.

On the right side of defence,we have plenty of cover,if needs be[when they're all fit!].

I like Sean Fraser,in that he can play in midfield, too.Something we haven't tried with him yet, under the new managers.

He seems a bit nervy going forward with the ball currently but has plenty of time for him to progress and so that's an area of his game that I would like to see improved on.As well as any defensive frailties.

Hopefully,Bakes and Unders can see, although not the finished article just yet, that he has the potential to be an asset for their squad in the years ahead.
