Big J R
... Both made the BBC London television lunch-time news today, along with another un-named Essex club. It appears YET another, (Malaysian?), betting scandal is about to hit the headlines. I wonder if any of their supporters who post on this site would care to comment ? Watch this space. Big J R
Thanks for the link Hookey. I'm sure the BBC TV evening news, (London Local), will carry the full report again this evening.
Eastside Urchin
Yep,The FA are a complete joke with the way they have dealt with the whole situation. It has nothing to do with clubs and I wish our name wasn't always thrown in the mix when other clubs apparantly had players involved
Big J R
Not absolutely sure, but I think it was the Hornchurch Chairman who was interviewed on the TV piece.

Eastside Urchin
No,only two played for us. One played in a trial match but that's as far as his involvement with the club went. What gets me is that two have played for Bishops Stortford but they aren't getting anything like the same press we are
cup of tea
Both clubs (Hornchurch, Billericay) are decent clubs, both clubs live within their means, both are run by honest, decent people, yet both clubs (Hornchurch in particular) are being put into the spotlight when nothing has been proven. If something has happened then as both clubs got relegated, they would be the victims in all of this. Underwhelmed by the FA, I have to say.
