behind-the-goal
For quite a while now there have been comments about our defence. Several names have cropped up on a fairly regular basis – I don’t need or want to repeat them. I thought it would be interesting to look at the stats. What I found was, to say the least, somewhat worrying. Games since we last kept a clean sheet (including the end of last season): Home league games: 9 Home league and cup games: 10 Away league games: 14 Away league and cup games: 10 Home/Away league games: 18 Home/Away league & cup games: 18 Home/Away league, cup & friendly games: 28 I think the last stat is worth repeating: the last time we kept a clean sheet in any type of match, home or away, was 28 games ago. The Crowing Cockerel
Ok, so there's a definite problem. But what's the solution? Is it the goalie? Is it the defence? Is it the midfield?
Eastside Urchin
Your goalie is too easy to wind up.
The Crowing Cockerel
Your goalie is too easy to wind up. Problem solved, thanks! Any idea where we can get a new non-wind-up one on the cheap?
Eastside Urchin
Don't get our ex goalie!!! Not saying he us your problem but he did take the bait rather easily last Tuesday and our following behind the goal kept going the minute he bit
Chase Side Towner
Your goalie is too easy to wind up. I think when you make a hash of the two goals he let in he wouldn't be in the mood for exchanging pleasantries.

MbrunoB
Being able to wind up the keeper is no excuse as we do it to other teams keepers and they manage to keep clean sheets.
