So why do you people keep feeding the troll and talking about him. You know what to do to make it stop....

coyr ....

People probably keep reading us to get a fair and alternative assessment to the usual " lets be nice to the lads in case it makes em play badly or inspires the opposition ( that really is daft ), and shows you lack the experience of playing senior soccer yourself !

What you all seem to forget is that we have not run down a single player or manager this season, in fact the only bother we have had is from either people who only want you to agree with them or those that know very little about non league footie or any footie for that matter. You see we are open to debate but when things don't go your/their way you/they don't like it.

And as soon as an opinion differs to your own, you push out lines like this without fail.

But Gary so far our opinions have been spot on.

Hotspur, i,m at a lose to understand why you keep speaking in the plural? "us" "we" etc .Are you speaking for two of you or is it a lack of basic grammar . Or even heaven forbid a split personality (Schizophrenia jumps to mind ...or two).

BucksRebel, I would take a look at your own grammar before criticising others.

There was a question relating to Couchie, just to inform you we have decided to let him go, as we feel/felt that his playing time would be limited, we wish him the best for the rest of the season.

With regards to yesterday, we were pretty disappointed in the result, we should have been 2 up before we even got the penalty.

The sending off actually galvanised them and they were the better team with 10 men up until half time (they raised their tempo and ours dropped which does sometimes happen in those situations), then when they went 2-1 up from the monster throw that actually came off Guy's knee, we stepped it up again.

However the dismissal of Warren meant that we needed to change the shape as they were playing 4-3-2, so we needed to match them up, which meant bringing Wheeler off giving us no natural width.

Injury time saw us have 3 excellent chances which meant we could have left with 3 points, however was not to be, the positive from our point of view was that although we did not play great yesterday we still created plenty of chances, and on another day could have scored 4 or 5.

Couple of other positives were Foulser training before the game, and he is hopeful of training twice this week, so not far away, also George got the all clear from the hospital, so again should be in contention for the Godalming game.

Johnnie Dyer picked up a knee injury yesterday, it is something he has had on and off, but we are hopeful that with a few days rest he will be fit for the weekend though.

Obviously Warren will miss 3 games now, but that will hopefully be only one league game, as he will 100% miss Chertsey in Red Insure cup (which he would not have played anyway) and if we can progress in trophy he would miss the next round of that.

However 10 points from 12 is a pretty decent return, and I am sure if this had been offered to us prior to Rugby we would have taken it.

Chris you get different suspensions depending on the offence, as Blounty's was denying a goalscoring opportunity that has a one game ban, Warrens will be classed as dangerous play which has a 3 game ban...

It is a shame as Warren was trying to win the ball, and I don't think the reaction of the Egham players helped, however I think we would have been calling for it if it was an Egham player, so was probably the right decision, but a 3 game ban is quite harsh... however they are the rules.

Not been overly impressed by Aaron Couch since he arrived at Slough but isn't it typical,we get rid and then Wazza gets a ban!

Thought Aaron Couch was very good when he was at Marlow,a few seasons ago but seems to have lost his cutting edge.

Needed a run of full games to improve but understand why the management have let him go,as he really didn't do much in the opportunities he had.

That said, bit of a strange time to part with him given the injuries and suspensions currently.

With Johnny Dyer now injured, perhaps we should look for another striker for options up front as a temporary measure.

Johnnie I am pretty sure will be fit for the weekend... and in terms of timings based on others coming back into the squad, we felt that we could cope without him, as much as it is great to have 5 on the bench ready to come on, in reality you can only bring on 3, also by the Godalming game we will have George and Seb available, with the following week Ben Ed and Foulser (though outside chance of him being fit for the bench Saturday)

Thanks for the updates Neil.

A very tough physical game yesterday and yes it was frustrating to not come away with more than a draw but equally Jake made some very good saves to keep us in the game.  The important thing is we are still unbeaten in 4 now and still climbing the table.  Looking forward to the game at Godalming as it should be a very interesting game for our former Godalming players.

Egham certainly look like they could cause trouble this season so a point away from home is not bad.  Also a very good support from the Slough support once again really outnumbering the home fans.

Still plenty to be positive about, COYR!

I think most of us that know about football knew this would be a hard game and I expect the players are kicking themselves for the missed opportunities, but then that's football happens to the best of us, still we got a point away from home against a tough side.

Disappointed in Ryan and Kyle's attitude on the pitch, playing good football is a far better way if you want to make a point. Whilst it might well of been a red for Warren think Ryan overdid the rolling around bit, well deserved of an oscar !

Good god was their number five a man mountain and could he throw a ball, just wondred if he threw it that well and it went in the goal would it stand?
