Windsor Rebel
The promotion bandwagon rolls into leafy Egham this coming Saturday. Sadly, the chance of finding a good pub in Egham is as easy as finding an oasis in the Sahara. However, due to my knowledge of the local hostelries,a few of us are meeting at The Crown, 38, High Street, EGHAM, from 1.00 PM onwards. For those wanting to watch the Spurs v Chelsea game beforehand, they may be showing it, if not the Compasses, 158, Thorpe Lea Road will have it on. All Rebels welcome. Stuntman Mark
I'll be there. Looking forward to a Chelsea/Slough double!
GlenSTFC
Will be there too, hopefully it'll be my baby daughters first Slough Town match aswell. I've checked with The Crown, Egham and they DON'T have Sky Sports... but The Boleyn Hotel in Staines which is less than a mile from the ground (same distance as The Crown is but different direction) will be showing it, so maybe meet there instead IF everyone wants to watch the football too. GlenSTFC
Well I did ask The Crown if show football and they said no, but maybe it wasn't the manager replying, doesn't matter not overly bothered about watching that game (easy win for Spurs anyway...). Sue, if Elana is coming you can bet your house Nana will be there!

Big J R
Both pubs were favourites of mine when I worked in Egham, albeit several years ago. Geographically, I think The Compasses is probably nearer Eghams ground for those on foot.
