Smudge Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 Due to popular demand,as most people find it hard to get to at the best of times,below is Smudges easiest route,with of course much less traffic if you are coming by the M25. Exit from the M25 at junction 6,keep left onto the A22,Follow this road for approx 3 miles,go over a Big Roundabout,about a mile further down the road you enter WHYTELEAFE(at the mini roundabout,Whyteleafe Tavern on left) you TURN RIGHT into HILLBURY RD(B270)Take next left .34 mls TITHEPITSHAW LANE,continue for 1 MILE,then turn LEFT onto LIMPSFIELD RD,B269.Keep on this road for approx 3 miles,till you reach a Roundabout,take 3rd EXIT signposted A2022 SELSDON/ADDINGTON,continue on this road for about 2 and a half miles until you reach a roundabout at the bottom of the hill,PETROL GARAGE on LEFT.TAKE 1ST LEFT,continue on this road(GRAVEL HILL)for 1 mile,turn right at top of hill,into Shirley Hills Road,continue on this road,over 1 roundabout,SCHOOL ON LEFT,at next MINI ROUNDABOUT,go straight over into SHIRLEY RD.Proceed to end of road,Traffic Lights,turn right,at the next lights turn Left into Spring Lane,continue to end of road(Traffic Lights),TURN RIGHT into Portland Rd,follow the road round to the LEFT for approx 400 yds,then take any turning on your right,this leads you into Albert Road.You can see the Stadium in front of you.Have a nice journey.
