Slough Town vs Barton Rovers

Very good that Peacock isn't playing but the old saying "One man doesn't make a team" springs to mind.......Barton are on form and have started well and I expect we have a very tough game ahead of us......

I was also miffed by the express report on Ashford wanting to prove a point with all our ex players....according to their website only Chris Robinson who we have played many times since he left......I can only assume they are ahead of themself and are talkign Egham next Saturday?

Yes excellent. could have been better several chances missed early on. Bartons early season position more to do with who they had played than how they had played I doubt if they will finish better than mid table. Yes Baks/Unders must be very pleased to have got a first home win under their belts and we now have the second best goal difference in the league and the third best defence so things are beginning to gel

Excellent performance full of pace and energy. Thought we dominated game throughout and it was hugely entertaining for us spectators. Somers had little to do but made one excellent save and showed some good footwork!

Can't catch a break though with two injuries at full back.

Fair play to barton's keeper definitely learnt how to deal with banter from Willmott and made a couple of good saves.

Congratulations to the management and team on a superb performance and result

From the first to last minute the team played at a high tempo conviction with great passing and goals toboot.

With confidence flowing through the team lets get on a run and move up the table COYR

Excellent performance as others have said. From watching from pre-season that's the Slough type of performance I've been hoping for; high tempo fast paced football, much like we saw when Godalming visited us last season.

We're very unlucky with injuries, but with Harrison & Lake probably out we do have a ready made replacement in Dominic Rhone at left back.

Excellent performance, possibly one of the best by Slough at Holloways and definitely the best under the the new managers. We played some great stuff in possession, but more importantly, we were outstanding without the ball, pressing Barton high up the pitch and not giving them any time to settle. Super team performance but Dyer mom for me, two goals and a great assist and worked his bollocks off all game. Let's have more of the same on Tuesday. COYR!

Excellent performance and result from the team today.

I thought every player from 1-11 played their part in a superb team performance.

Jonnie Dyer had his best game by far in a Slough shirt and I can see why he was MOTM but for me Ben Edwards was quite superb today. He was in the thick of the action all game and never put a foot wrong, well done Ben and DJ on two terrific performances.

COYR's!!
