SYCOB's took the lead on the 60th minute after a terrible decision by the Ref who was shocking for both sides. He sent off the Royston keeper for a superb tackle. They scored from the spot and we went straight up the other end and equalised.

They regained the lead in the 89th minute but there was a good 8 or so minutes added and we equalised again with the last kick of the game and again from the penalty spot after yet another terrible decision by the whistle happy idiot.

These Royston fans have no respect for referees ;-)

Looking at the league table there's still plenty to be excited about. Even though we are out of the cup we have already got a couple of games in hand on most of the teams above us, and at least one in hand on all but one team. Win those games in hand and we're up in 6th and back in the mix. Hopefully a good run will see us climb the table quickly, COYR!

League table for me is not really worth looking at until you have played 12-15 games, then it starts to settle (not to say I don't still study it, as I do).... last year we won our first 7 on the bounce then dropped points in the next 3... Guildford City won their first 6 games also, and ended up finishing 9th/10th.

Long season ahead, and what is quite clear is most teams are capable of taking points off each other, obviously Daventry have started fantastically, as have Barton who we play Saturday.

On the Royston game, have to say it was never a sending off of their keeper, one of the strangest decisions I have seen in a long time, as the lad won the ball quite clearly!!!

Neil Spot on Its not so much what your results have been early in the season but rather who you played. Some teams riding high at present have mostly played teams likely to be well down the table at the end of the season and conversely some of the apparent strugglers have played teams likely to be in the top group It does need at least a third of the games to be played before a true picture emerges imo.
