Wibbandune will be hosting the FA Vase 2nd qualifying tie between Mole Valley SCR and Greenwich Borough on Sunday 22nd September Kick off 3pm. This is due to a cycling event in the Cobham area where many roads will be closed.

Dorking town and much of the surround is closed as well, for the third time in 18 months.  It's getting beyond a joke !

We have the same problem in Knaphill. It's circled around us. We have our vase game at home that day too. Bloody nightmare

If anyone does not fancy getting stuck in traffic then it's Chinnor FC vs Bedfont & Feltham FC FA Vase this Saturday 3pm kick. Traffic free zone!!

Not really going anywhere near Cobham as far as I can make out, assuming it's the due to the tour of Britain on the Saturday? End of my road is scheduled to be closed around 1-2pm on the Saturday, which will be really handy for getting to football by car

 

As BJR said this is the 3rd time in just over a year the roads have been closed for cycling. Residents get no consultation whatsoever. Doubtless we'll also get to see that utter buffoon Boris Johnson getting his ugly mug on the telly in his hard hat

It's not just the days the roads are closed, but all summer there are hoardes of cyclists in their replica team sky shirts 'practicing'. Usually in large groups all over the road and slow moving with no respect for anyone else.

Wndsor v Camberley games are usually entertaining and if it half as good as Bank Holiday Monday then we will be in for a treat. But LL, why not try the real ale that's available? If you have to try "larger", I highly recommend the Republika. And while you are there, come and say hello. I will be in the PA Box with what could be a world footballing first if it happens - which of course I hope doesn't happen. All will be revealed this afternoon.
