had to post this taken from Dover FC Forum and the views of a WSM supporter watching his team at Crabble....and a familiar ring to what we had at HDP under CK (paragraph 3)

 

 

Hi all, was one of the massive travelling contingent yesterday and honestly can't believe some of the posts on here, it looks like most of you didn't actually watch the match.

 

 

 

 

Yes the ref was terrible but it was for both sides, how your 6 was still on the pitch at the end is anybody's guess.
Yes he missed what looked like a stonewall pen for Dover but he also missed one for us and also didn't penalise your continual fouling.

But and it's a huge but, if you seriously think the ref was the reason you lost yesterday then you're deluded. Your side were awful, kicking anything that moved and then hoofing the ball 60 yards and hoping for the best, you didn't string two passes together the whole afternoon. I feel sorry for you if that's what you have to watch every week.

And that brings us to the winning goal. Again I'm not sure any of you (with a few exceptions) were actually watching the match. Your keeper came for a ball that he was never going to get, fouled Diallo and then collided with your centre half before landing horribly. As there was no foul on the keeper, the ref correctly played on and Naby slotted the ball home. Glad you keeper seemed to be ok afterwards but you can't blame the ref for your keeper being reckless.

I was annoyed by the Leiston game, true, but that Dover vs WSM forum thread is enough to turn people away. A self-fulfilling prophecy I suspect so now await the sub-500 attendance.
