I remember some people saying that pre season games didn't matter and it was the league games that would show what we were made of. No wonder there were no worries at the time.

 

It's a results game and consistent results are needed to keep interest and enthusiasm going. If it ain't working, then it needs fixing and I don't think that the lack of an enormous budget should be given time and again as an excuse.
