South Midlands League Premier

LEVERSTOCK GREEN 1-3 OXHEY JETS

Attendance 30ish (h/c)

Much of the first half was spent with the hosts pinned back into their own half as the Jets thrust themselves forward at every opportunity to stamp their authority on LG who, despite an improved second half showing (loved the dinky ponytail on their No. 15), remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

Good win for us today. Strong all over. Baldock good front two not alot else IMO.

We are better than that normally - didn't look a patch on the side that beat Southall on Wednesday night even though it was the same starting XI.  I thought you wanted it more than us on the day and two excellent saves by your keeper in the second half kept you in the game before you got your three goals.  You deserved it though - well done.

The Hanwell machine finally coughs and splutters to a stop, I did wonder how long you could continue to absolutely smash anything put in their way!

 

Still a very, very strong side: Hanwell, AFC, Ampthill then Berko is my top 4 prediction.

 

Glad Crawley got a win, really think they should be up there challenging this season and their early results worried me. Baldock will still do well.

 

Cockfosters seem to be a very strong Cup side. I think they'll struggle going to AFCRD and get a result infront of a big home crowd but you never know. Worth a tip on the FA Vase though!!

Yeah, sorry my 'report' was a bit short n sharp didn't have much time.

Felt first half we were the stronger and if we were better in the final 3rd game could've been over at half time, saying that when u broke your front 2 are very sharp and could've had 2, our gk made a good save one on one.

2nd half was quite even chances for both,at 1nil our gk makes a top drawer save if that goes in it could've swung Your way with the momentum and the slope. The subs and going two up top gave us the advantage again and made the most of it.

Both your forwards very strong and sharp they will cause a lot of cbs a lot of problems this season. Good game of football in front of a crowd of about 6!
