cup of tea
Phew! We've certainly had some difficult fixtures early in the season and this was another one against a decent looking Wealdstone team. I don't want to take anything away from Wealdstone who look like they've got a good setup but our midfield didn't really seem to get going tonight. Lots of effort from the front two and some decent play at the back. Cut that equaliser a bit too close for comfort though. Ref looked like he struggled on occasions. Lord Upminster
Never in doubt about getting a point out of the game. All about the never say die spirit. A very good Wealdstone side who brought down a decent crowd. Come on you Urchins.........
urchinman1961
Agree well organised side very hard to break down would have taken a draw before the game so well pleased, it aint over till the fat lady sings, well done to everyone who gave England a miss ,good support from wealdstone
Eastside Urchin
I think Wealdstone will go on to win the league, plenty of pace and some experience. Saying that,I thought we was poor and had we played to our strengths then we could of won, just an off day for us
kimbles left foot
Wow we really used our get out of jail card this evening... not much can be added from the above posts really...think our midfield is really lacking something at the mo.. it seemed fairly disjointed and slow with limited options at times and it showed against a quick Wealdstone team with a couple of ex-pros thrown in to boot.Cant fault our never say die attitude tho....special mention to Stefan Payne, he has been a fantastic signing and ran he socks off tonight...was my MOM
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
credit where due to Wealdstone they do look a good side and i'm sure will be top 5 or there about's come end of season. To be honest thought we played poor tonight and never really got going. Not sure if we deserved the point, but a points a point and i will take it. paokman
And we are still third, level on points with our old mates from Margate
Eastside Urchin
To be fair, had we not scored then I would of expected the backlash on here to be far worse than it is,apart from the last 5 minutes of the second half,we created nothing of note in the 2nd 45,we really were that dire.Dont get me wrong,I will take the point all day long and maybe we was just up against the best side in this league on the night with a bit too much pace for us to handle. colin mcbride
the first 10 minutes of most games set the tone of the match as a team and individually .we sat off and was sloppy, they took the game to us and look a good side,as the half went on we got into it more.the second half i dont think we played to our best and when you have 4 forwards on the park it gets disjointed when you chase the game, long balls dont suit our front two.but we did not give up and got a draw .unbeaten in 8 and touhy letchmere to return soon we are moving in the right direction and jimmy will certainly not be conceding the league after 9 games.cup saturday which is so important for financial reasons .big thanks for all your support

Hornchurch "O"
Scott McGleish was one of my favourite Orient players. How did he look?
cup of tea
Did okay as it goes O. We've played 4 out of the top 8 teams and got positive results against all of them (2 wins. 2 draws) - that's not a bad return.
Wivenhoe Urchin
Wealdstone looked a very good side, not sure if they will go on to win the league as it is still early in the season and we need to play all teams. Maidstone could go top tonight with a win over Cray which you would expect from what we've seen. Overall it was a hard earned point and we are looking good to be in the promotion hunt. Old Dodder
Poor performance at home again ! Why ? Some great performances away from home this season and yet we can't seem to bring this form back to the Bridge. Essential that if we are to challenge this season we need to improve at home. The return of Touhy and introduction of Lechmere will certainly strengthen Jim's options. At least we showed some spirit at the death to snatch a point. obis
Don't agree. I think at Home we have played ( with the exception of East Thurrock who we beat 3-0) teams that will be in the mix with us for promotion. So on reflection we don't have a problem I feel. With Tuohy, when fit and Purcell we have potentially arguably the best strike force in the division. Too early to judge if home form is a problem. I'm sure we will be in the top 5 or 6 throughout the season.
