Just wanted to be the first to post  :D

First time in a long time I've come away from a 'ricay game with that elated feeling.  Just realised how much I miss it.

Great performance tonight.  A lot of heart & fight shown from all areas of the pitch.  Four good goals with Juniors being a touch of class.

Richard Halle my MOM  :o

Well done to Craig Edwards.  The team he put out tonight certainly showed desire and spirit.

My 1st home game of the season and i can't see what all the worry is about (Jokes)

Great passing game from the lads and desire was mentioned a few times behind the goal. split for MOM between Halle & Super Joe

Anyone that stayed away to watch Boxed TV will have have missed out on one of the best BTFC performances in a season or two.

I know the lads have to do it all again on Saturday but for now credit where it's due. 10/10 lads

Great result last night which was achieved because of the lads effort and work rate which was superb.

Hopefully we can repeat the dose Saturday. This group have now shown what they are capable of - long may it continue. I hope the stayaways enjoyed the bore draw.

Aaaahhh how refreshing is that waking up knowing we have won with a good passing performance! Need to keep it going into saturday, if we keep passing the ball last night them im sure more of the same results will come.

The wins is even greater that our hardcore support last night got to see our best performance so far.

Same again saturday, cant fix whats not broken applies from the first 11 through to the supporters. Players play the same and the supporters get the good feeling back!

Possibly the best football we've played in years!!  Well done to everyone in a Blue shirt (and Green!) - a real quality performance with much better pressure in mid-field.  Defence looked far more assured last night - interesting to see Paul Rodgers at centre half.

Couldn't quite work out what formation we were playing, with only one striker, but Joe worked his socks off.  Pace on the wings, good pressure in mid-field and a strong defence (apart from the 1st 3 mins!) - topped off with 4 goals - so I don't really care what formation it was.

Agree about man of the match being Joe or Halle.  Certainly think that's the best I've seen Richard Halle play.  Perhaps the armband spurs him on!

Same again Saturday please.  Craig - don't change anything!!

Echo what has alread been said! When they scored early doors I was thinking 'here we go again' - little did I know that after the goal, we would go on to play our best football that I have seen in a long time, thoroughly deserved the victory - well done guys.

There were a couple of jittery moments in defence, but overall I thought we looked a lot more confident of being able to handle things at the back than we did on Saturday. I thought Craig got it spot on with the changes he made, Joe ran his socks off, Junior looked far more up for it, and it was good to see some pace within the team, something which I think had been lacking. Now we just need to keep it at this level and hopefully we can push on from here.

The first half was a massive improvement on the football from the first few games.  The lads passed the ball around quickly, retained possession and looked dangerous on each attack.  Even after Leiston's early goal Billericay still looked to attack and attack.

They started the second half in the same manner but the fourth goal seemed to slow them down and Leiston came back in to it.

Joe Benjamin's first touch was horrendous!

The open goal the poor sod from Leiston missed in the first half was comical, we did laugh.  I don't believe in karma but we were punished at half time with The Sweet's horrendous rendition of 'You Spin Me Round (Like A Record).

All-in-all it was a vastly improved performance.  With the addition of Ricky Sappleton to the side the team can put the start of the season behind them and really push on, assuming they continue playing in that manner.

Well done lads!

Smashing game and performance from the boys. Cannot fault anyone (unlike the Basildon defector)

Benjamin was my MoM he absolutely terrorised their entire back four.

Keep it going

Best football we've played since Wingate & Finchley away. Made all the better because I didn't think Leiston were a bad side. Strong performances all round. Midfield looked energetic, we passed the ball and the work rate was first class. Callum Dunne had his best game in a Blue shirt, Joe Benjamin was a revelation and they couldn't handle Junior or Evo. It's fair to say we needed that! Only downfall was there were so few people there to witness it! Hopefully a kick start to the season. Can't get complacent though, same oppo on Saturday, think they'll have a point to prove.

Brilliant game last night. One of the few who was there :D  Benj ran his socks off and was unlucky to score - contender for MOM with Halle. Wingers were also superb, took on the full back every time - either crossed it or won us a corner. Hopefully keep same squad for Satuday - can't see it happening though.

Probably the first time I've liked Craigs formation and squad selection, worked well :P

thought we were absolutely superb all round the park! So glad i decided to watch the Blues instead of same old England. Was especially delighted with the high tempo and slick passing, keep that up all season now! Hopefully Craig Edwards decides to play the same lineup saturday as it worked very well, Benji upfront was class again and the wingers offered a lot of attacking support. No disrespect to the players who weren't involved but some such as Sappleton may change our playing style from what it was Tuesday night
