Having said that there is something I want to add to our record of conceding goals particularly of late from corners/set pieces. I have seen a few games and the videos posted from Tuesday & other games from The Cold End and am I the only one who seems to think that Noel should be more to blame than the defenders? From what I have seen he is very reluctant to come out for crosses and tends to leave it for defenders to take responsibility for! As a goalkeeper he should be commanding that 6 yard box at corners. I'm sure if you hear Noel (a 6ft + keeper) shouting "keepers" it would potentially put a few attackers off fearing they would be getting a 'keepers fist' in the face. I'm not saying he needs to be more like Gomes and come out for every cross and flap but staying on his line for what appears to be every corner is it any surprise that we then concede from them?

A very good point, which has been the recent view of a number of supporters.

I believe ( I will surely be corrected )that there have been at least 7 goals scored against us this season, all of a similar fashion ie, free header from an unchallenged cross.

Room for improvement and soon.

Opposition teams (especially the ones with local knowledge i.e. Wealdstone) have certainly targeted Noel's weakness of staying on his line and our weakness at dealing with crosses. Kingstonian (Noel wasnt in goal), Wealdstone, Hendon x2, Thamesmead, Bury have all scored goals from set pieces against us.

Hendon x 2 ( Kirbs man lost him twice and scored with free headers ) . Bury 2nd goal Chris Wild was marking the guy who scored. Wealdstone own goal and stood up cross to back post which gave Noel no chance. Yes I agree that there are times when keepers should come and take command , but our markers at corners should also do better, when Kendall , Kirbs, Wild , White , Gunz and Hope all play we are quite a tall side

My first instinct was it looked a yard offside...but having viewed it a dozen times & paused it when the ball is played back in it does look like Jordan is possibly level with him.

And that's the bottom line, 'cause StoneCold said so...

I'll get me coat!

Have to agree with Stoney. Looking at it and freeze framing many times. He appeared on side when the ball was kicked and there is the other problem of parallax (Parallax is a displacement or difference in the apparent position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight, and is measured by the angle or semi-angle of inclination between those two lines). We are not in line and therefore the benefit of any doubt has to go to the lino.

Mind you I might have had a go at him if I had been in line.

It is a very easy game from our side of the fence.
