Disappointing 93 min goal let in to rob victory,.... but well done Town.

From what I've heard I couldn't see from where I was standing, but the there 90th min goal was offside and we also had 2 goals disallowed which I thought was a bad call from the referee. We should've took the 3 points back home but happy with our 1st away point

93rd minute equaliser , headed clear a long throw , kept a good line , left their forward behind as we came out. Nodded back into him , well offside , no flag from Lino,incredulous. Bad bad decision cost us two extra points . Even their fans said it was clearly offside . Good performance though, opposite of Saturday

Very disappointed not to take the 3 points. Having said that, sounds like a good performance and great to get the first away point of the season!

 

Hopefully the poor decisions from the officials, which seem to be rife at this level, will average out for us over the season.

My first instinct was it looked a yard offside...but having viewed it a dozen times & paused it when the ball is played back in it does look like Jordan is possibly level with him.

 

Having said that there is something I want to add to our record of conceding goals particularly of late from corners/set pieces. I have seen a few games and the videos posted from Tuesday & other games from The Cold End and am I the only one who seems to think that Noel should be more to blame than the defenders? From what I have seen he is very reluctant to come out for crosses and tends to leave it for defenders to take responsibility for! As a goalkeeper he should be commanding that 6 yard box at corners. I'm sure if you hear Noel (a 6ft + keeper) shouting "keepers" it would potentially put a few attackers off fearing they would be getting a 'keepers fist' in the face. I'm not saying he needs to be more like Gomes and come out for every cross and flap but staying on his line for what appears to be every corner is it any surprise that we then concede from them?
