Dirtyclaret
'Local' derby for Crawley. Always an action packed fixture. Think there was 10 goals in 2 games last season
Winslow Boy
Local derby for us too Perry using reserve and players who haven't had much game time for firsts in this, this cup is traditionally a pain for us.

Dirtyclaret
Some-how Crawley v Harpenden finished Nil Nil. If Crawley had won 4-0 tonight it would've been a fair result. We created prob 7 or 8 clear cut chances. Bossed the game all over, in every dept. Harpenden still a good side tho, will defo compete.

Seems a familiar story you are telling there Claret, always unlucky, even when Smiffy is away. Maybe Jesus hates you or is it your strikers couldn't hit a barn door? Dirtyclaret
Haha Our problem through out pre season and the early games was forward options and then creating chances. A top drawer fwd is like gold dust, especially when you don't pay out any money. We signed Pringle and have changed the shape a little and have recently been creating better chances, however, especially last night we couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo! Our cm must have had 4 clear cut chances alone. We hit the bar, had 2 off the line, and forced the gk into 2 or 3 good saves. Harpo were limited to 2 or 3 half chances from outside of the box. I try to keep my 'reports' fair and honest, I am our worst critic.
