Jeff Trice
...but just added some more pics to the history site, some nice ones from 1976 showing volunteers at the club and suchlike, people I'd imagine some of the longer-standing supporters on here would remember. Anyway, take a look if you like - for anybody who hasn't paid the site any attention the amount of stuff that's been added this year is substantial to say the least. Frankie100
Certainly brought back memories there Jeff, especially the ladies serving teas
Jeff Trice
I remember the tea ladies too. Also recall seeing a rat running out from under their little hut ! Just added a really great photo to the site from the 60's which is well worth a look. Details on the main page as usual.

margateshot
Always went into the tea hut with my dad for a tea and kit kat. Very welcome on those cold blustery days at the club. Some really good photos there Jeff.
Always Gate
My wife worked with Anne Donnelly in the tea hut during the TUFC days, we used to get the French sticks from Addingtons at the top of the high street and cut them up in the morning before each game, I think all the supporters visited that hut at half time. margateshot
Does anybody still own a copy of the CD "Down to Margate" which bad manners produced? Is there anybody on here who will admit to singing as the Margate Marauders on track 12. I think I might bring it down for our new radio man to play some tracks next time I'm down
marksandwell
I have a copy
SteveB
I can name several Margate Marauders, at least 3 of which still go. Two of them work for the club in some capacity now! The recording was done in two different groups, which is why some of it is out of sync and much less professional than it would have otherwise been.
