No, Hotspur, we are not all agreed that Chalfont will not present a problem. Do you like giving motivational team talks for the opposition?

Fantastic result yesterday. Something to build on, but let's not get complacent or, as some fans, arrogant.

Ok let me rephrase that for you-Chalfont should not be a problem to teams with ambition.

Thing is, I think we were still not at our best yesterday. Probably to date our best performance was Uxbridge 2nd half. It wasn't free flowing football yesterday, but we were however hugely professional yesterday and played a clever game with 10v10 and came away with a impressive victory.

Lot more to come from this side as we saw when we lost at home to Godalming last season where we got away with not getting a hammering. So I'm looking forward to the team building confidence and putting together displays like that.

All games in this league are tough and from what I remember of Chalfont they are a team that will not set the world alight but are hard to beat and very organised.

Will need to be on top of our game and rustle a few feathers early on I think and not let them settle

A thoroughly enjoyable game with some great goals (especially the 3rd), showing what we can do when it clicks. Kudos to Rugby who did a good job of encouraging the kids along with the Non League Day mascot idea, and as last season were welcoming hosts in a very nice stadium (one day...). Also, a positive mention about the officials who got pretty much all the major decisions right, which doesn't happen often so credit where it's due.

Now, onwards to Chalfont with hopefully fewer injuries and less bickering!

Just seen the highlights and very impressed with the goals. Clinical finishing from  Ed, a couple of lovely through balls from Jamie McClurg and Wooz doing a Giggs for the second before playing a ball out wide from deep that Zidane would be proud of for the the third! More of this please, great stuff.
