Ash Utd 0 Holyport 1

well another season & we don't progress in any off the FA Competitions

Had lots off the ball but didn't do enough with it to get the win. The only goal came early in the second half with a spell off good pressure from holyport. I won't take anything away from them but how we didn't win this game is beyond me....created chances & failed & at times very badly

so now back to the league next week & hopefully a much better performance

Dorking lose 5 out of 5 in Div 1 then go and beat a premier division team, it's a funny old game!!

Well done Chicks! Must be honest, wouldn't have had in my accumulator but credit where it's due. Hopefully carry it over to Tuesday's cup game vs Cobham.

not a full strength colliers wood side but neither was it a Dorking ideal first ii

sound debut by keeper, great first half performance and lets hope its a good week for the Chicks.

Sunday we have a charity game on behalf of the Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance

If you cant come, please google it and have a think.  Thanks.

Knaphill were excellent last night, much better performance than the one I saw last week v Lammas. A well deserved victory, good luck in the next round.

You must love Div 1 sides having switched allegiances this season.

Westfield 0-2 South park

We started well, better side first half I thought but lack of real chances either end. We did have a glorious one though right on half time but Wastell made a brilliant save

2nd half South Park were the better side and crucially got the opener. From then on the looked more confident and we struggled to create anything. The hit a stormer at the end to wrap up a deserved 3 points.  From our perspective though we are delighted we are not too far off the best sides in the division and I definitely regard South Park as one of those.

Excellent TRS Video again at Westfield, pitch looked decent. Can I ask this question though, have the Club any plans to infill the barriers around the pitch, provide covered standing for spectators on any of the other 3 sides of the ground.Would be a shame in my opinion that now you are progressing on the pitch, crowd numbers up etc that you rest on your Laurels. Can you improve things without Local Authority permission?

Very impressed with Westfield, great set up and pitch was excellent. Think they will upset a few teams going there expecting to take 3 points, as they are a side who have just come up.

I'd say it was exactly how NLN says, Westfield better first half, SP better second half.

Best of luck to them.

We left it late on Saturday, but a win is a win!

Did we deserve it? We pushed Bedfont Sports back more in the second half and they created little, although they had the better chances in the first half, so on balance, a draw might have been fairer. I had us just ahead "on points"  but not by quite enough to say that we "should" have won.

We appeared to change our shape with ten remaining and suddenly started to get quality into the box that truthfully had been lacking for much of the previous 80 minutes. We could have had three in that last spell, although two were nearly own goals and required good saves from their keeper who was very good.

Finally, next week I believe we'll have everyone back from holiday. Our team have been seriously clocking up the air miles this season!

Looks like The Chicks are starting to gel.

Onwards and upwards !!

I went down to Meadowbank yesterday, (Sunday), to watch the Ladies.  Two weeks in a row, they made a remarkable come-back, being 0-2 down in the first 15.

After a major shouted b0llocking from the bench, (yes - me included),  which would have even turned some male players pale, they came back to equalise at 2-2.

Our thanks to SpursFan for doing the bar.  Always makes the trip worth-while !!
