billericayboy28
it'd be nice if there was a little special offer for us regulars once in a while, but this is a good opportunity for us to get some more numbers in.. which is important at this level. be nice to get 3 points too COYB
Eastside Urchin
Lol,the thing is, regular fans are only too happy to give the money to their club so I guess most wouldn't be too bothered, although I do know what you mean. The die hard fans at Non League clubs do more for football than probably any other section of the game. Some devote hours a week or on match days while others give financial help to clubs and others even buy their club!!!

Eastside Urchin
I do as well. But most non league fans would rather give to their club than take. Saying that,it has always grated with me how clubs bend over backwards for NON non league fans to get to the games, offering them free entry etc,its a but of a kick in the teeth but I can see both sides of the coin. Ryan.c
Unfortunately the overwhelming majority of the footballing public have a Premiership allegiance. As a one off I reckon its worth a go. I think Wealdstone offer reduced entry for season ticket holders of Premiership/Championship clubs for every game. Wouldn't be a fan of that. Eastside Urchin
Yeah a one off seems a sensible idea. Wealdstones idea is obviously aimed at the multitude of Chelsea fans who live over that way.

Going to argue this... "Oh I watch my favorite team on Sky" is hardly an allegiance... it's bloody laziness brought on and purportrated by...the greedy buggers that make up the FA, Premiership and Sky TV!!! And I don't blame the "punter". if you give 'em what they want, on a plate, without them doing anything for it except sit on their fat arses to vegitate, they will... But I wouldn't mind so much if some of the cash filtered down the pyramid...but... ...Oh my God... I've just seen a white rabbit in a suit, holding a pocket watch and muttering that he is late, disapearing down a rabbit hole... Next I'll be seeing some bint called Alice diving down the hole after him... Bloody rabbit has all the luck...
billericayboy28
I understand that many fans will happily put their money into the club without problem. As do I. However there are many supporters who probably struggle to pay week in week out which can cause our numbers to fall which is a shame. And perhaps the fact fans do plunge there money into the club is evidence that they may deserve something back from the club. It's the same in the Premier League, clubs such as Arsenal will overcharge on season ticket prices as they know the 'regulars' will be willing to pay the fee. (I'm not stating that Billericay treat us with disrespect) as they don't but i'm trying to make a general point

Billericay Town Unofficial
If anyone is travelling from or through Basildon on Saturday you'll need to avoid what they pass off as a 'carnival' as it'll be closing off Eastmayne, Whitmore Way and a few other roads. (I'm not stating that Billericay treat us with disrespect) as they don't but i'm trying to make a general point Of course, don't forget, if you are a member of the BTSA you get cheaper replica shirts, discount on clubhouse hire, cheaper fare on away coaches (don't forget True Blue members get a free monthly draw and the chance to win £50!) and Junior Blues can get admission to league games for just a pound a pop. It may not be much, but you do get a little back if you are a member!

billericayboy28
i'm confused.. if you're a btsa member is the junior fee 1 quid a game or is that if you're a true blue?
jl
If you are a Junior Blue (under 16) you get entry to league games for £1 instead of £3. Junior Blue membership is £5 for the season - So it's a great deal!
billericayboy28
could you please tell me how i could become a Junior Blue, would be a great help!
Gareth J
See Emma or Gisele who should be doing membership just inside the turnstyles. If no-one's around someone around the turnstyles or shop will know where they are hiding. Don't be afraid to ask - we don't bite.
