Looks like it's gonna be a long winter for Guildford.

It does.  Also interesting that on their forum they are moaning about Godalming players play acting and getting people sent off.  Sorry guys but what goes around comes around...

That league is full of excuses - fleet tweeted yesterday about their match being too far away and players not making kick off and also that they have no budget. Hmmm I'm sure the likes of Ryan Pryce and Jordan Carter play for nothing !

watched alton v rpv ,end to end game without any real quality from either side , alton had a man sent off midway through 2nd half and pinched it at the death

Are you sure you watched the game?...did you forget your glasses....i have a couple mates that play for rpv and alton so i was down watching also,

1st half was dominated by rpv who had a goal wrongfully ruled out for offside (i was in line with the linesman who was well behind play ) and also created numerous chances...ill give credit to the alton keeper who will probably never play another game this well! He was on top form but rpv were also wasteful, alton were lucky to go in 0-0 could easily have been 4 or 5

2nd half started how the first ended with alton on the back foot , and their right back getting sent off for a 5th bookable offence, after the sending off the game got stretched and alton scored from what should have been a free kick to raynes park in the middle of the pitch with the alton centre back literally climbing on top of rpvs number 9 referee gave nothing,

To be fair to alton they played their game and got better as the game went on with their number 10 looking a very good player and very dangerous from long throws but all in all rpv were extremely unlucky

I would like to also add..the officials were poor!! All game neither linesman could keep up with play..flagging from 10 yards behind the actual play

agree with you ccl player that the officals didnt at all control the game and seemed to make some odd decisions which frustrated both sides.

 

but i honestly felt that there was little quality in the game both sides gave away possession freely and didnt really create that many outstanding chances. thought rpv tried to play and were certainly on top first half. would be surprised if both finished above midtable.

 

wish both sides good luck for the rest of the season
