GazzaBTFC
Stroy of our season really... for periods of the game we were the better side but also were our worst enemy... even though we were the better side in the first half we didn't create as many chances as they did when they were on top in the second... perhaps if their chances had stuck, the score line would've been 5-2 in their favour... ...but it wasn't... breathe a sigh. If i was to comment further, I would say that we are not taking care of the ball enough. We don't appear to want to hold it and play with it... as soon as it hits certain players feet, the ball is launched forward, which is okay if we have players blessed with the speed of Apollo... but we haven't (well...one...). When we do take care of the ball and pass it, we are actually threatening and in all the games so far this season, the better team... And it isn't the newer players I am looking at here...our more experienced players need to lead and take care in my opinion.

jl
We were the better side first half. Second half they have absolutely battered us and missed two or three sitters. Fair play we managed to nick one back near the end. All three of our strikers are looking decent and all bring different things to the party but we just couldn't get the ball to them enough second half. Apart from Evans the midfield was abysmal and quite honestly I was surprised both Collis and Poole finished the game. It's a point away and I'll take it but we haven't got the balance right yet. Eastside Urchin
Are they a decent side? Early form would suggest so but we played them in the Essex cup final and they looked very average and I didn't think they had added too much to their squad
GazzaBTFC
I think we made 'em look good to be honest... If we'd played to our strengths (as my post suggested), we probably would have walked away with all three points... Overall, I wasn't impressed with them Trust that answers your question
cup of tea
Watched the game - Apologies but you were awful in the second half (looked good on the break though, a few times you broke quickly and looked menacing). Collis was lucky to stay on the pitch. Grays pass the ball around well and have bit of pace, end product is perhaps a bit lacking. Miss of the season in the second half, the Grays forward blasted it over the crossbar from 2 yards out. Like to say you deserved a draw but I think that Grays were a tad unlucky. Result I wanted as a Hornchurch fan though.
